Vitamin D Health (25-Hydroxy) Kit

Check your Vitamin D levels by self-collecting at home.

About Vitamin D Health (25-Hydroxy) Testing

Up to a third of Canadians have a Vitamin D deficiency. Our Vitamin D Health (25-Hydroxy) Kit allows individuals to check their Vitamin D levels without visiting a doctor clinic or a LifeLabs location. This self-collection kit measures how much Vitamin D (25-Hydroxy) you have in your blood. Vitamin D is a naturally occurring substance that supports your immune system, bone health, mood, and muscle function. Your body produces Vitamin D naturally from a limited range of food sources and when your skin is exposed to sunlight.

Who is this test for?

This kit is for anyone who wants to check their Vitamin D levels at home. Vitamin D deficiency can indicate metabolic issues, bone disease, or nutritional disorders, and is often asymptomatic.

The Vitamin D Health (25-Hydroxy) Kit is a straightforward and accurate way of measuring your Vitamin D levels using a blood test. It measures the amount of Vitamin D (25-Hydroxy) in your blood, establishing a baseline for ongoing monitoring and enabling you to assess your deficiency risk.

A third-party doctor will follow up with you to review abnormal results. You can always consult a healthcare provider regarding your Vitamin D Health (25-Hydroxy) results.
